Alain Minvielle brings extensive shaping experience from California and has a keen sense for the flowing and gliding character of the classic style. In collaboration with Torq and Edouard Delperro, he has developed a longboard shape that is inspired by the models of the 60s and has no edge in the traditional way. At the same time, he integrated a more modern bottom line to create a perfect cruiser with surprising manoeuvrability.
The key aspect of this classic design lies in the rocker and volume distribution. The rocker curve allows you to keep noserides in the pocket, both in small conditions and in bigger waves. The unique distribution of volume across the entire surfboard, from a thick nose to a thin tail, allows for stylish cross-steps and easy turns for an outstanding surfing experience.

TORQ TEC TECHNOLOGY:
For lengths of 8'6 and over we have introduced a T-stringer and UD carbon triple strips on the deck and bottom for a new level of torsional strength. The torq longboard technology is incredibly strong, light and responsive.
With 3 layers of glass on the deck and 2 layers on the base, these are super strong, light and feel fast under your feet.
