Back in the summer of 1984 in a sun-bathed kitchen in Leucadia, California, Britt Galland, just two years removed from San Dieguito High School, invented BUBBLE GUM Surf Wax with his brother Grant.
"Even today, no matter who smells Bubble Gum Surf Wax, they are taken back to an earlier place in time, it's like a kid in the summer running around with a bag full of Bazooka Bubble Gum," explains Britt Galland, the mad scientist for Surf Wax. "Bubble Gum's whole idea - colour, smell, look and feel - was a huge, instant hit."
We threw a small product into the surf industry, stood back and watched what happened," says Galland. "People freaked out about it. ..... and this wax brand has been keeping surfers' feet on their boards all over the world ever since.

Having withstood the test of time, the Galland brothers are pushing their innovation to keep Bubble Gum Surf Wax at the forefront. "This is our passion game," says Britt, "We surf every day with our friends and family all over the world. There's nothing we'd rather do.
